Last year was huge for Twisted Tipping; we doubled our members and at the end of the competition gave away prizes totalling over $7000! This year we're making the competition even bigger with prizes totaling over $10,000 including a massive 1st Prize of a $5000 Clive Peeters Gift Card.
Twisted Tipping is different to other tipping competitions, we want to challenge you beyond typical head to head questions. Expect to see 'twisted' questions with a maximum of 4 possible answers as below:
The competition will be structured in the usual way. A few days before the first play for each round has begun, a set of questions will be loaded onto the rounds page. Each question asked will have a range of answers for you to choose from. This year we have added in the odds for each possible answer to help guide you and you might even want to have a punt if you think the odds are good. The rest is up to you!
Once the round has been completed the Tips Marker will enter the correct answers for the round. This will then add the points you gained to your total score. You can view fellow tipsters scores at any time by checking out the leaderboard page.
Want to join after the season has started?... don't worry, you can! You will receive the average number of points for any round you missed or forgot to answer, helping you to stay in the game.
Want to create your own team and see who is the smartest tipster amongst your mates? You can! Just go to the "My Team" function and follow the easy steps.
The Australian Football league is as exciting today as it has ever been and with our unique twisted competitions it is possible to get even more enjoyment out of each round. Unlike many other competitions based on Aussie rules football, for each round we post a set of questions that have a range of possible answers rather than just simple head to head ones where everyone has a 50/50 chance of getting the right answer. NRL footy tipping is also popular and consists of a similar set of questions. After each round the scores are added up and running totals can be viewed by all competitors throughout the season. Prize amounts have been increased for this year to make it more rewarding than ever to enter and there is a section where you can create your own team and see who in your group knows the most about the game.
Rugby league is of course a major sport in Australia and in addition to the comprehensive betting service that we offer there will be the chance to show your skills at predicting various outcomes with Rugby competitions as well. For all competitions the earlier the answers are submitted the better the chances of winning as in the event if a tie the winner will be the person who entered their answers first. With a printed footy tipping sheet a group of friends can get together and decide on their answers before submitting them. This means that each person could be responsible for following the form of one team which will hopefully increase the chances of landing a prize at the end of the season. Apart from being fun in their own right, watching each week’s games is more interesting when the results affect people’s chances of winning footy tipping comps.
You have to be in it to win it as the saying goes and registering for competitions is a simple process with our online form. Simply fill in your personal details and send the form off to us. Once it is time for the first round of the season we will contact each competitor by email to let them know it is time to get their thinking caps on again. The Australian Tote is committed to taking AFL footy tipping to new levels with exciting questions and great prizes for winners.
