Each round, players are required to make a single selection for each question from the list of potential answers provided. Players may make changes to these selections right up until the close of the round. Answers submitted after the round has closed will not be counted towards the tipsters total score. The round is defined as closed when the first match of the round has commenced play. There are twenty two rounds in total.
The answers to each round must be submitted before the round closes which is stipulated when players enter their tips. If a player misses a round or joins late then that player will receive the average number of points scored in that round. The adjustment will be made no later than the Wednesday after the close of round.
Points are awarded to the player for each correct answer they select. Each round will have a maximum amount of 10 points per round.
Prizes are awarded based on the total points scored per round for the weekly prizes, and for the accumulated points for all rounds for the grand prizes.
In the case of a tie, the winner will be selected based upon the time at which they first entered their final answers. This will be determined by the judges and the date stamps within our system. Each player must have his or her own individual details registered to play or be eligible to receive prizes.
This competition is only open to people aged 18 years or older.
The Refer a Friend Competition concludes on the 17th June 2010 at midday and the tipster with the most active and verified referrals at this time will be contacted.
